I have a passion for art. Since my childhood I like painting and creating crafts. The concept of my work is mainly based on the daily experience of Indian life and on inner relationships of social and cultural aspects of India. My images mainly carry a traditional Indian theme. After I immigrated to the United States I visited quite few art galleries and got ideas about the style and subject material of Western art works of Monet, Van Gog, and Jackson Pollock.I completed foundation course of studio art from CU, Boulder and studied about some contemporary artists such as Kara Walker, Sally Mann, Ann Hamilton, Mark Dion, Deborah Sperber, etc. My current art works have some influence from both Indian arts as well as from western art and the related techniques used in both.
